Villa G&G · Padenghe sul Garda

Privacy notice

Last updated 8 August 2026

This is a small family-run holiday let, not a company with a marketing department. This page explains, plainly, what happens to your information when you write to us.

Who is responsible

The owners of Villa G&G, Via Leonardo da Vinci 40, 25080 Padenghe sul Garda (BS), Italy, are the data controller for the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. You can reach us at info@villagng.com.

What we collect, and when

This website has no enquiry form, no account system, no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. Simply reading these pages does not identify you to us.

We only hold personal data if you choose to email us. In that case we hold whatever you put in your message — typically your name, your email address, the dates you are interested in, how many of you there are, and anything you tell us about your party.

If you go on to book, Italian law requires us to record the identity documents of every guest staying and to report them to the police authorities through the Alloggiati Web system, and to collect and remit the local tourist tax. That is a legal obligation, not a choice we make.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Who else sees it

Our email is hosted by our email provider, and this site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers deliver the pages and fetch our booking calendar. Neither is given your data for their own purposes. Guest registration data goes to the Italian State Police as the law requires. If you found us through Airbnb or Booking.com, those platforms operate their own privacy policies over anything you send through them — this notice covers only what reaches us directly.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Fonts and hosting

The typefaces on this site are served from our own domain rather than from Google Fonts, so your browser makes no request to Google and your IP address is not passed to them. Cloudflare processes your IP address as part of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse, which is a normal and necessary part of hosting.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within about twelve months. Booking correspondence and the records tied to a stay are kept for as long as Italian tax and tourism law requires, which is generally ten years for accounting records.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable form, or object to our holding it. Email info@villagng.com and we will respond within a month. If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority in your own country.

Cameras at the property

There are security cameras outside the building covering the approach and the parking. None face the pool, the terrace or any interior space, and there are no cameras inside the house. Footage is overwritten automatically and is only ever looked at if there is an incident.

If this page changes

If we add an enquiry form, analytics, or anything else that collects data, we will update this notice and change the date at the top before it goes live.
